Introduction.Hello. We are four students from Peachtree Charter Middle School with the task of creating a catapult. This website is dedicated to teaching you about catapults and how we built ours. We hope you learn a lot! We decided to create a mangonel tension catapult. We made our catapult with two tiers at the top instead of one, because it made it stronger. We also had multiple hooks under our arm, to support a tighter band with more knots, and to make our arm shoot farther. The idea of multiple hooks was Evan's idea, and it ended up working out very nicely.
